Agyemang Badu - "We have to finish off Mozambique in Accra"

"We have to kill the game here before going for the second leg" - Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu

Ghana will be hosting the OS Mambas in the first game of a double header 2017 AFCON Qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.

The reverse fixture of the duel between the two sides will come off three days’ later in Maputo.

Badu, who will be leading the Black Stars team for the duel due to an injury to substantive captain Asamoah Gyan and his deputy Andre Ayew, says their aim is to beat Mozambique.

“There is commitment in camp, everything is going on well we just need the supporters and I don’t think Mozambique has a chance here.

“We have to kill the game here before going for the second leg,” Badu told Metro TV.

The Black Stars currently lead Group H with six points after thrashing Mauritius 7-1 and piped Rwanda 1-0 while Mozambique have no point in two games.
