Gabriel Odoi Laryea’s world title dreams have received a massive boost after signing a 3-year management contract with Accra based businessman, Emmanuel K. Blankson.

The two put pen to paper on their new partnership at a short ceremony in Accra on Friday in the presence of the boxer’s trainer, Emmanuel Amponsah and assistant trainer, Jackson Kofi Gyasi.

Laryea, a former Commonwealth bantamweight title challenger expressed delight at the new development in his career and has sworn to work hard to pay the manager for the faith shown in him.

“I am very happy for getting this opportunity to work with him and I believe we will achieve a lot together because I will never stop working until I dominate the super flyweight and bantamweight division,” the former West Africa Bantamweight champion said.

On his part, the new manager revealed his deep love for the sport and admiration for Odoi Laryea and is also looking forward to an exciting working relationship culminating in titles.

“I am a big boxing fan and I know how talented our boxers are but there’s no support. I’m here to help Gabriel because I know he is a top prospect and I believe with the right support, he can be a champion in no time,” Mr. Emmanuel Blankson stated.
