South African boxer, Dillon Yule throws title challenge at Joe Boy

The calm looking Joe Boy with killer punches has promised to defeat Yule and retain the Commonwealth Africa Lightweight title.

Yule has expressed his readiness to not only defeat the Nigerian boxer but also take the shine off him as they exchange punches at the Indoor Sports Hall, National Stadium, Surulere.

Money prize at stake for both boxers is over N3.5million, according to Flykites promotions, the fight organisers.

Joe Boy, who literally ended his rivalry with Prince Nurudeen in a bloody 10 rounds bout in 2016, has said his punches will do the talking when he meets his South African challenger.

Joe Boy, who has won the best boxer at the GOTv Boxing Night a couple of times, is one of the first new age boxers that have been well remunerated for his brillance.

The bout between Dillon and Joe Boy will hold alongside six other bouts scheduled for the 12th edition of the GOTV Boxing Night.

The event, which is bankrolled by GOtv, and supported by MultiChoice under Flykite Promotions, will be broadcast live on SuperSport in 47 African countries.
