Bastie Samir has caught the attention of Baby Jet Promotion, which is owned by Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan
Bastie who had sparred for Floyd Mayweather was unpopular in his native country Ghana until he knocked out the undefeated Bukom Bakom in a Cruiserweight bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena in 2017 to make him a household name.
His impressive feat has made him a target of Baby Jet Promotion, the home to Emmanuel Tagoe ‘Game Boy’ and some other up and coming boxers.
Aside Bastie Samir, George Ashie is another boxer whose hard work has been noticed by the boxing promotion owned by the Black Stars skipper.
CEO of Baby Jet Promotions, Samuel Anim-Addo has announced that his outfit is close to sealing an enticing deal with the above-named boxers and their capture is expected to be announced in the next couple of days.
“Baby Jet Promotions will be announcing the signing of Bastie Samir and George Ashie soon,” Anim-Addo told Hot FM.
“The official announcement would be made in the coming days. It has been the responsibility of Baby Jet Promotions to sign on good boxers and that is what we have started doing.”
