Huck Hogan disappoints me - Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson emphasised "We’ve all talked trash. He said what he said and he’s paying the price"

The 43-year-old Furious Seven actor, Dwayne Johnson was part of the World Wrestling Federation, now known as World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., for several years before becoming a movie star, using ‘The Rock’ as his professional wrestling alias.

Dwayne encountered Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, many times throughout his WWE career and the star can’t believe his former colleague was captured on tape spewing out the n-word.

“I was pretty disappointed with what I heard,” Dwayne revealed while speaking via satellite at the HBO Television Critics Association press tour, according to Deadline. “I’ve known Terry for years. My dad help trained him in Florida in the 1970s, and even my uncle. I come from a long line of professional wrestlers. I didn’t know him [Terry] to be a racist. It’s one of those things where it’s not definite in terms of what he said. We’ve all talked trash. He said what he said and he’s paying the price.”

Hulk Hogan was fired from the WWE due to his racist rant controversy after working with them for 38 years.

Dwayne turned up to speak at the TCA conference to promote his new HBO series Ballers and the documentary he’s working on for the network entitled Rock and a Hard Place.

Rock and a Hard Place centres on the real-life happenings in a boot camp prison for youths.

Dwayne empathises with troubled kids because the star thinks he could have easily been locked up as a young man.

“I’m lucky I didn’t wind up in prison,” he noted.
