Game Boy’s world title bout postponed to 2nd December

The much-anticipated bout between Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe has been postponed to 2 December, after his opponent felt sick.

The world boxing bout dubbed the ‘fight of destiny’ billed for 25th November has been postponed to 2nd December due a delay in the arrival of Emmanuel ‘Game Boy' Tagoe's Argentine opponent, Fernando David Saucedo.

Emmanuel Tagoe will faceoff with Saucedo when they battle for the IBO Lightweight title at the newly built Bukom boxing arena in Accra.

BabyJet Promotions, who are promoting the bout has apologised to all stakeholder that the bout has been postponed to accommodate the time the Argentine will arrive in Ghana, after he felt sick.

“The bout has been postponed to 2nd December, because Saucedo felt sick and his camp has released a medical report to that effect. He was expected to arrive at least 7 days before the bout for promotional activities.

“We are about to communicate to all stake holders, but we have informed IBO. Once the belt is in Ghana the bout will definitely come off. We apologise to all stakeholders who might have planned towards the bout next week for the inconvenience that the postponement might cause,” Samuel Anim Addo, the CEO of Babyjet Promotions told Happy FM.
