Medeama coach Tom Strand confident of victory over Ahly Shendi

"I believe in my team and, so, I believe that we will qualify and win the game." Tom Strand

The Tarkwa based giants will host the Shendi based club at the Essipong Sports Stadium on Wednesday after the first leg ended goalless.

And according to Strand the only way for his team to progress to the next stage of the competition is to win against Ahly Shendi and he is confident his charges will secure that win.

“I believe in my team and, so, I believe that we will qualify and win the game. That is the only way, otherwise we will be out,” he told Class FM.

The Swedish tactician has pleaded with the supporters to come in their numbers to cheer the team to victory.

“We are in dire need of their support because they are the 12th player and without them we are never going to make it,” Coach Strand said.

“It is very important that they come in their numbers so they can lift Medeama to a higher level and give us the support required to lift us up to the next step in this campaign.”
