Sundowns coach worried about Medeama's away goal advantage

Pitso Mosimane says Medema SC's away goal is giving him headache ahead of the return fixture

The Ghanaian side failed to protect their early lead as late in the game they conceded three goals – losing 3-1 in the process.

The Brazilians have arrived in Ghana to honour the return fixture and their gaffer is sweating over Medeama’s away goal.

"Medeama had a goal in South Africa and that is a great headache to us," he said.

"That away goal is a great advantage for them. They will try to make good use of it in the second leg and that is a problem.

"If the first leg had ended without Medeama having a goal, it would have been different."

He concluded: "It is difficult but my boys are ready for the job.”
