Ronaldo is said to have purchased the flat from Italian real-estate businessman Alessandro Proto who is a business partner of owner Donald Trump.
Warburg Reality website reports that the interiors of the apartment was designed by world-renowned designer Juan Pablo Molyneux.

According to the , the apartment inspired E.L. James, the author of '50 Shades of Grey' to create the novel's notorious bachelor pad owned by the lead character, Christian Grey.
Ronaldo in May was rated by Forbes as the highest-paind athlete in the world, earning a whopping sum of $79million in 2014 from salary, bonus and endorsements.
