Ghanaian forward Ebenezer Assifuah marks his Black Stars debut game against Mozambique in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game in Maputo.

The FC Sion forward who has been consistent in form and gets in the goals occasionally at club level earned another call from Avram Grant to the Black Stars team for the AFCON qualifiers.

Assifuah however sat out of the first game against Mozambique at the Accra Sports Stadium after the injured Asamoah Gyan was replaced by FC Lorient striker Abdul Majeed Waris.

The 22-year-old striker got the nod ahead of the return fixture against Mozambique in Maputo, partnering Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew upfront.

Ebenezer Assifuah won the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup golden boot.

The game between Mozambique and Ghana kicks off at 1:00pm Ghana time [13:00GMT].
