Ghana's Inaki Williams saddened by the departure of coach to Barcelona
The Atletic Bilbao whizkid has paid tribute to Ernesto Valverde after his decision to join Barcelona from Atletic Bilbao.

Iñaki Williams, Athletic Bilbao striker, spoke about Ernesto Valverde and said "he deserves everything good that happens". Williams is one of the fan favourites at Bilbao and was sad the coach is leaving. "It's a pity he's leaving us but the team he leaves is more than capable. He's broken records with us, he's very calm and very normal. He brings calm in all the bad moments and whoever gets him will have a great coach."
The Athletic player revealed the goodbye message the squad received from Valverde. "He told us that it was really hard to go becuase we've always given him everything and been here when he needed us. He deserves everything and I hope that tomorrow he remembers us for what we did together," he explained.
"In my case he believed in me a lot, he helped me mature on the pitch and I give thanks for what he did when he was here."
Inaki was speaking after winning the 'Apuesta del año' prize after a fine season with Bilbao.
Inaki Williams who was born in Spain to a Ghanaian father and a Liberian mother is yet finally commit fully his international football but he has played for Spain at the youth levels and featured once for the senior team in a friendly game against Bosnia and Herzegovina
