Frank Acheampong hits brace for Anderlecht

Frank Acheampong scored twice for the Belgians side on Thursday as they edged Zenit St. Petersburg 2-0 in the UEFA Europa League

Acheampong scored the opener with just five minutes into the game when he connected home a supply from Nicolae Stanciu.

Before the former King Faisal player doubled the lead of the hosts when he scored from another pass from Nicolae Stanciu in the 31st minute.

Frank Acheampong who is a left winger has been turned into a left full back by Anderlecht and was also named as such by the Black Stars coach Avram Grant for the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.

And he played in that position throughout the tournament for Ghana, as they finished fourth.

However, he was deployed to his usual left wing role against the Russian giants and it paid off as he registered both goals for Anderlecht.
