Aswan FC have terminated the contract of Kofi Owusu after the striker failed to meet their expectations.

The 2014-15 Ghana Premier League top scorer struggled to replicate the form that shot him into prominence two seasons ago on the domestic scene.

And According to reports his inability to make an impact in the Egyptian league has compelled Aswan FC to part ways with him

The former Berekum Chelsea marksman has returned to Ghana in search of a new club both home and abroad.

Owusu in his last season in the Ghana Premier league scored 19 goals to win the goal king, including an incredible brace against Asante Kotoko when his side condemned the Porcupine Warriors to a historic 0-3 defeat in Kumasi.
