The Porcupine Warriors have won 16 and lost 14, with 23 ending in draws in the 53 league engagements with Hearts of Oak in Accra.
Hearts of Oak, however, have scored 55 goals as against 54 by Asante Kotoko in Accra in their 53 league clashes.
The first league tie between them in Accra happened on 16th November, 1958: Asante Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak 2-4. Akuffo of the Porcupine Warriors became the first player to score in this fixture in Accra.

Accra Hearts of Oak have also gone eight years without a win in Accra against their arch rivals in the league. They last won in December, 13 2009 via Samuel Affum's goal.
Last season Asante Kotoko secured a 0-1 win in Accra against the Phobians, courtesy of goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye's howler.
The biggest margin of win in this fixture is by four goals to nil: Hearts of Oak thrashed Asante Kotoko 4-0 on 15th March, 2000.
This is followed by 1980: Asante Kotoko demolished Hearts of Oak 0-3 in Accra.
