Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed the appointment of Portuguese trainer Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil as head coach of the club’s youth team.

Under this arrangement, Mr Traguil’s assistant would be responsible for scouting and other supportive technical tasks.
The Portuguese tactician arrived in Ghana with his personal assistant and according to the club he will take charge of the club’s youth team on Monday.
“Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited is glad to announce to the sporting public of the appointment of a Portuguese trainer – Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil as head coach of its junior teams – Auroras (U20) and Royals Oaks (U17),” a statement from the club revealed.
“Under this arrangement, Mr Traguil’s assistant would be responsible for scouting and other supportive technical tasks while local coaches will assist in the actual coaching of the two teams and also as assistants to Mr. Traguil.
“The new arrangement is part of the long term plan to lay a very solid foundation sustainably competitive, efficient and successful club.
“Mr. Traguil and his team would be expected to help develop a strong and youth from which players would be tapped into the first team,” the statement concluded
