Agyemang Badu undergoes surgery ahead of new season

Italian club Udinese have announced that Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has gone through a successful knee surgery in Rome,

The arthroscopic surgery which was performed on his left knee by Professor Mariani in the Villa Stuart structure in Rome has been finalized.

The midfielder will remain hospitalized for the next 24/36 hours and before setting off to Udinese to begin the therapeutic path with the company’s healthcare staff.

Badu has returned from a season long loan from Turkish side Bursaspor and he is expected to be one of the key men for Udinese manager Julio Velázquez.

The 27 year old joined Udinese in 2010 and has spent most of his career in Italy until he joined Bursaspor just last season.
