Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has chosen to remain calm concerning the injury picked up by his new signing Angel Di Maria.

The Argentine forward moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus on a free transfer this summer and has hit the ground running for the Old Lady.

In his Serie A debut for Juventus against Sassuolo on Monday night, the 34-year-old bagged one (1) goal and one (1) assist to help Juventus to a 3-0 victory over their guests.

However, the 34-year-old midfielder had his impressive debut cut short in the 66th minute when he picked up a knock and had to be replaced by Fabio Miretti.

After the match in his post-match interview with DAZN as reported by Juventusnews24, Allegri is choosing to not be fazed or bothered too much about the injury Di Maria sustained.

Allegri said: "Angel always has that face there, then he was having fun… these things happen, the important thing is to have won the game and recreated enthusiasm.

"We got off to a good start, then we lost a few balls on the way out and there we struggled a bit."

The Italian manager also stated that he would wait till the test results are in for Di Maria's injury before making conclusions, generally calling for patience concerning the Argentinean forward.

"In those moments you have to be calm and let the moment pass. Let's see the results of the exams tomorrow, these things happen. Today he was also very hot," Allegri concluded.

Apart from Di Maria, last season's signing Dusan Vlahovic also has a good game, bagging two goals against Verona as the record champions sought to start the season on a high note.
