Asamoah Gyan is the jama leader in the Black Stars and his teammates always miss him whenever, he is injured or is excluded from the national team for lack of form.

Gyan over the years has done a lot of collaboration with hip life and dancehall musicians and the most popular of all is ‘African Girls’ with Castro who is feared dead after disappearing years ago.
Much is unknown about Asamoah Gyan’s ability to thrill crowd with gospel music, until he stood behind the microphone to perform Cindy Thompson’s hit song ‘Awanwa Do’
Asamoah has his own band called ‘Asa Band’ and the Ghana skipper sometimes performs with them when he is on break from club football.
Asamoah Gyan has scored 51 goals for the Black Stars, making him Ghana’s all-time top scorer in international football.
