“Prioritise your health and fitness” – Augustine Arhinful advises Ghanaian footballers

Former Ghana international Augustine Arhinful has advised footballers not to joke with their health.

“Make your health a priority – Augustine Arhinful advises Ghanaian footballers

According to him, good health should be the number one priority for all athletes and must be taken very seriously.

The 45-year-old said this on the sidelines of the grand opening of the plush 922 Place in Dansoman on Thursday.

“For some time now, my health has become the number one priority for me and I think everybody should take fitness as serious as possible,” Arhinful told Pulse.com.gh.

“We all know that physical training and keeping fit is good for the body and so I’ll urge everybody on to take this seriously.

“We should also make sure that we do medical checkups before we start any training. That is one area we don’t normally take serious but it’s very important. Sometimes the training you are undertaking can be harmful to your health.”

The ex-Black Stars forward further touched on the plush 922 Place building which was launched in grand style.

Arhinful described the building as magnificent and expressed confidence that Landsar Group will continue to lead the way in building construction, facilities management, supply solutions and logistics and real estate expert services.

The 922 Place houses all the affiliate companies of the Landsar Group, including Landsar Facilities Management Limited, Landsar Developers Limited and the Akweni Group.

The plush building has a reception hall, multiple administrative offices, account offices, a Managing Director’s office, large meeting rooms, an archives room, and a resting room, among others.

The entire building is also designed to promote renewable energy, with its lights and air conditioners fully powered by solar.

“It was a thought that occurred to me some time back when I thought that our businesses must come to a point where we would all be housed in one location,” CEO of the Landsar Group, Edward Wiafe, explained.

“So, I had to look for a place where I could set that up. I didn’t even know it was going to be this magnificent.”

Mr. Wiafe said the Landsar Group will continue to serve its partners with professionalism and dedication as it has done over the years.
