Black Satellites suffer shocking defeat against Niger

The Black Stars have been defeated 1-0 by Niger in their opening game in the WAFU u-20 championship on Friday.

The first half of the game failed to produce any goal despite both sides coming close to scoring.

The Black Satellites will take on Nigeria in their second group game of the ongoing championship in Lome.

Coach Jimmy Cobblah paraded a strong lineup which included Karela United left back Imoro Ibrahim, WAFA SC midfielder Prosper Ahiabu, fast rising defender Mayonu Henderson, former U17 star Emmanuel Toku and captain Issahaku Konda.
