Bizarre statue of Asamoah Gyan erected in Kumasi goes viral
Asamoah Gyan is the the all-time top scorer of the Black Stars with 52 goals
Wearing a Black Stars shirt with the classic Puma, Essien's statue doesn't look like him. However, he looked excited when he posed for a photo with his bizarre statue erected in Kumasi in his memory.
It is understood the statue was build to celebrate the 32-year-old for scoring 52 goals for the senior national male football team of Ghana.
It is also believed the statue was designed by the same sculptor who erected a another bizarre statue in memory of former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien in Kumasi.
