Kwesi Appiah scouts Latif Blessing as playmaker scores twice to impress

The former Liberty Professionals attacker scored twice against FC Dallas, as Kwesi Appiah watched on.

Appiah was in the stands when Blessing and  Sporting Kansas City side took on FC Dallas in the quarter-final of the US Open Cup, where the latter won by three goals to nil after extra time.

Blessing has shown impressive form since joining the Major League Soccer giants, and scored twice as Sporting Kansas booked a place in the semi-finals.

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah was in the stands to watch 20-year-old playmaker, and it is understood that a call-up is very close.

Accompanied by former Ghana international Joe Addo – who serves as a scout for the national teams – Appiah watched the entire duration of the game, as Blessing stole the show with a sublime double.

The former Liberty Professionals star has so far scored 4 goals for Sporting Kansas City since moving to the US.
