Ghana defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria 4-1 in the final of the 2017 WAFU tournament played at the Cape Coast stadium.

And Akufo-Addo believes such a feat can only mean that the nation still has the magic touch when it comes to football.

“You’ve [Black Stars B] brought a lot of joy to this house, and also to the entire nation and we are here to congratulate you very warmly for your achievements,” the Ghana president said.

“A few days ago before the result of your achievement, I was having an argument with someone who was telling me that Ghana football was on the decline. And I said really, how?
