The first time Ghana were stunned on home soil happened on 30th June, 1968 against Morocco in the Olympic Games Qualifiers.

The Black Stars had earned a 1-1 away draw and a goalless at home could have qualified them, yet they lost the return leg 1-2 at home against Morocco.
