The Erik Ten Hag era at Manchester United is finally underway after the Dutchman welcomed some of his new players back for preseason.

ETH speaks to the players on Monday.

English giant Manchester United has officially started life under new manager Erik Ten Hag after he took charge of his first training session with the players on Monday.

Ten Hag and his coaching crew, which includes Steve McClaren, welcomed no fewer than 20 players to their training ground for the first day of preseason.

With some of the players still on break, Ten Hag finally got the chance to get to work since he was appointed as the new boss.

Since then, the former Ajax manager has been waiting in the wings to get his hands and feet dirty with the players and yesterday he finally got to meet some of his new players.

In the absence of those players who were given extended holidays after starring for their countries during the international break, goalkeeper, David de Gea led the players who reported for preseason on Monday.

Argentine wunderkind, Garnacho, was the surprise name spotted at Carrington. The youngster has resumed early despite representing Argentina’s u-20s at a recent competition.
