1. Edinson Cavani
Born on this day in 1987 in Salto, Uruguay's second largest city, Cavani will be celebrating his 30th birthday tonight when his French club Paris Saint Germain host Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
The lanky, prolific striker has previously played for Danubio, Palermo and Napoli, and is Uruguay's second all-time top scorer with 37 goals in 89 caps.
The 2013 Italian Serie A top scorer is also a three-time French Ligue 1 winner and a 2011 Copa America champion.

2. Angel Di Maria
Yet another PSG player will be celebrating his birthday tonight when Barca storm Paris. Argentine Angel Di Maria turns 29 today.
The skillful winger, born in Rosario, won the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup with his country. He was an integral part of the Real Madrid team that won 'La Decima' (a 10th UEFA Champions League title) in 2014 and was part of the Argentina team that lost three consecutive finals (2014 World Cup, 2015 Copa America and 2016 Copa America).

3. Christian Erikson
The midfielder turns 25 today.
Heralded as one of the most talented players to emerge out of Denmark in recent years, the Tottenham Hotspur lynch pin first burst unto the scene in the Netherlands, where he won three consecutive league titles with Ajax from 2011 to 2013.

The three-time Danish Footballer of the Year was also the youngest player at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa aged 18.
