Kwesi Nyantakyi and George Afriyie after being at logger-heads for weeks have finally resolved their differences

Reports went viral regarding the tension between the GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi and his Vice President George Afriyie after Ghana’s double header against the USA and Mexico in late June and early July.

Pulse Sports understands the duo were engaged in a public spat when the President questioned Afriyie for allowing Asamoah Gyan the skipper of team to pay airfares with his master card while the latter also expressed concerns for being kept out of the lope by the former.

And it appeared the relationship was beyond repairs after Nyantakyi reportedly received a text message from Afriyie accusing him of being greedy, wicked and selfish.

It became evident when the GFA President snubbed his lieutenant during the launch and draw of the 2017 WAFU Nations Cup at the Labadi Beach Hotel last month.

However, the old folks have let sleeping dogs lie, after the Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah acted as an arbiter in a closed door meeting on Tuesday.

A source closed to the Black Stars team in America told Asempa FM: ‘’Nyantakyi questioned George Afriyie on why he allowed Asamoah Gyan to pay for bills with his master card while George Afriyie also accused Kwesi Nyantakyi of keeping him in the dark over the arrangements of the friendlies Ghana played in the United States".
