Ghana Premier League player killed in car crash
Prince Appiah, a player of Inter Allies Football Club has been announced death after sustaining injuries in a car crash

It is understood that Prince Appiah was involved in the accident at Cantonment, a Suburb of Accra. Appiah was rushed to the Police Hospital, before he was referred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, but he battled for his life, before he died this afternoon.
Appiah who only joined Allies in May 2018 was a forward and had had stints with Eleven Wise, Ebusua Dwarfs and Berekum Chelsea.
Allies in a statement confirming his death said they were "heartbroken with the terrible news".
"Inter Allies are profoundly shaken to announce the death of one of our players, Prince Appiah," the statement said.
"He was involved in a fatal car accident on early hours of Sunday around Cantonments in Accra. He was taken to Police Hospital and later to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he battled for his life till he passed away this afternoon. We are very sad and heartbroken with this terrible news".
