Everton express interest in Baba Rahman

The Chelsea player on loan to Schalke 04 could return to the Premier League as Everton shows interest

Baba Rahman has been on the sidelines Everton have he suffered an injury while playing for Ghana in the 2017 Africa Cupof Nations (AFCON).

But he has started kicking ball and approaching full fitness after nearly 11 months out with injury.

Schalke are keen to hand him another loan spell in January, but they are likely to have competition from Everton who have also expressed an interest in signing the Ghanaian defender.

Meanwhile, Baba Rahman is on the wishlist of other European clubs like Monaco, Fenerbahce and Fiorentina.

Rahman has been training with Chelsea's first team but Antonio Conte is still keen on adding another left-sided wing-back with Porto's Alex Telles and Alex Sandro of Juventus on his wishlist.

Rahman has made 23 appearances for Chelsea, but none at all since the final day of the 2015-16 league season.
