It was opening day for the 2015/2016 Premier League season and Andre Ayew signed for Swansea on a free transfer.  Andre Ayew was to start the Premier League against English Champions and obviously the pressure was to be very enormous for this new signing.

Oscar made the statement for the Champions as the Brazilian effected a free kick which zoomed into the net on the 23rd minute. It did not take too long for Swansea to respond as Andre Ayew rose up to the occasion and give himself a befitting welcome to the Premier League.

Andre Ayew would go on to score 12 goals which included goals against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United. That was the kind of performance which was definitely to see him land a record signing of £20.5 million to the West Ham.

Jordan Ayew vs Swansea - 24th October 2015

Jordan Ayew also transferred to Aston Villa from Olympique Marseille in the same window his elder Andre brother made the move to Swansea. Jordan had 12 goals under his belt in the previous season for Olympique Marseille. Villa lost Christian Benteke to Liverpool. Jordan Ayew and Rudy Gestede were meant to be the reinforcements.

With the league starting on the 8th of August, 2015 Jordan Ayew had to wait till 24th October before scoring in an epic duel which saw him play against his brother for the first time in the English Premier League. Jordan Ayew scored a header to get Aston Villa to take the lead but Swansea came back to win the victory by 2-1 at the Villa Park. Jordan Ayew got relegated with Aston Villa in the 2015/2016 season. In a wonderful turn of events he was signed by the club he scored the first goal against Swansea City. His last season for Aston Villa in the Premier League had Ayew register 6 goals.

Jeffrey Schlupp vrs Burnley - 4th October 2014

The left back is the first amongst the current crop of Ghanaian players in the English Premier League to grace the English top flight. It is therefore right that he got on the score sheet before everybody else although he is a defender.

Schlupp got promoted with Leicester City for the 2014/2015 season of the English Premier League and that same season saw him get his first Premier League goal.

It was on a day when Schlupp featured against Burnley for Leicester as he connected a Riyad Mahrez cross with his right foot into the Burnley goal. Schlupp will go on to score two other goals in the rest of the season and his side managed a great escape which saw them finish 14th with 41 points. Leicester City awarded the Young Player of the Year to Jeffery Schlupp for an outstanding performance he put up that season. Schlupp did also win the Players' Player of the Year Award. He won the league with Leicester alongside fellow Ghanaian Daniel Amartey before joining Crystal Palace in the winter window of 2017

Daniel Amartey vs Stoke City - 27th December, 2016.

Daniel Amartey has only one goal in his stint at Leicester City and that was recorded against Stoke City.

Daniel Amartey scored an 88th minute header at the BET 365 stadium to rescue a point for his side in a 2-2 draw. That has been the only time Amartey has been on the score sheet in English Football.
