Hearts of Oak beat Great Olympics on penalties to win Homowo Cup

Hearts of Oak lifted the 2019 Homowo cup beating city rivals Great Olympics on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

The Phobians beat Olympics 3-1 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 in regulation time.

Olympics managed to hold Hearts of Oak to a scoreless draw in the first half with a brilliant output.

On the 69th minute, Mitchell Sarpong broke the deadlock for the Phobians with a classy finish before Olympics had the equaliser after two minutes through Iddrisu Salar.

Hearts defeated their rivals by 3-1 after the Dade boys had missed three of their four kicks.
