Here is why Jose Mourinho might be sacked before the season ends

The Manchester United boss is not in good terms with the club’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward.

Ed Woodard and the powers that be at Manchester United believe Jose Mourinho should be able to work with the players at his disposal and grind out the results for the upcoming season, but the Portuguese thinks he needs to augment his squad to make them set for the season.

Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he can no longer trust Anthony Martial after the Frenchman left the camp to be at the birth of his son and failed to return immediately.

“He has the baby and after the baby is born – beautiful baby, full of health, thank god – he should be here and he is not here," he declared.

However, it is reported that Ed Woodward has told Mourinho to calve a way to utilize Antony Martial effectively in his scheme of things this season.

Jose Mourinho has expressed that he is yet to get his wish-list for the season, after he sent a request to Ed Woodward.

“You ask me about players I would like to buy, to add to the squad," he said. "I would like to have two more players. I think I am not going to have two.

“I think it is possible I am going to have one; that is possible. I gave a list to my club with five names a few months ago and I wait to see if it’s possible to have one of these players.”

The current relationship between Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward has been marred and it looks like nothing would change entering into the new season which kicks off this Friday.

Mourinho aside his differences with Anthony Martial, is also not in good terms with Paul Pogba, with the agent of the French World Cup winner searching for a club for his client.

This shows there is much instability in Manchester United.

The Portuguese boss for the first time in many season is not confident entering into the start of Premier League and he has poured out his frustration over the turn of events.
