Majeed Waris returns from suspension

The ex-BK Hacken and Trabzonspor attacker played full throttle in his first French League Cup outing for Lorient as they defeated Dijon  3-0 at the Stade Yves Allainmat - Le Moustoir.

Majeed Waris returned from a six-game ban to play his first game for Lorient on Tuesday night.

The Ghana international has not played for Lorient since October 31 due to a six-game suspension he was handed for a dirty tackle on Guingamp attacker Jimmy Briand in a Ligue 1 match.

Wari has bagged three league goals for Lorient in the league since returning to the French top-flight from Trabzonspor after initially playing for Valenciennes
