Juventus express interest in Manchester United's Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford is attracting a whole lot of attention from Serie A giants Juventus, who have stepped up their interest in him, according to Paul Joyce from The Times.

The boyhood United fan came on as a substitute against Max Allegri's side in the dramatic 2-1 Champions League win in Turin a couple of weeks back and it's said members of the club had been monitoring his situation prior to that.

However, the Bianconeri are now set to compile a dossier on the 21-year old which will ultimately help them to decide whether or not to move for the England international.

Rashford, who burst onto the scene when he scored twice on his debut as an 18-year old in a Europa League game against FC Midtjylland in 2015/16, has a contract until 2020 - though United, like they do with several of their first-team stars, have the option for an extension.

The academy product was handed the coveted No.10 shirt at the start of the season but has been in and out of the United first-team and isn't considered a permanent starter for Jose Mourinho.

However hasn't played a full game as a central striker, his preferred position - and it's popular opinion that his development has somewhat stalled after his electric start ot life as a professional footballer.
