The top liner of the week proved to be an easy match for the Mauve and Yellow side as Prince Opoku scored twice within the first half mark to help his side secure a 3-0 win.

Medeama was awarded a penalty inside 2 minutes of the game and Prince Opoku Agyemang made no mistake from the resulting kick to give his side an early advantage.

The mercurial striker doubled the lead for the Tarkwa based club as they held onto the 2-0 lead to half time.

Ten minutes to the end of the game, substitute Nana Kofi put the icing on the cake for Medeama after connecting home from a cross.

The Phobians are now without a win and no point after matchday two in the Ghana Premier League, with their opening day defeat against Berekum Chelsea led to the sacking of head coach Kim Grant.

They travelled to Tarkwa with interim manager Edward Nii Odoom. He failed to get best out of the players as Medeama cruised to a famous victory.
