Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu takes a break due to ill health

Medeama head coach Samuel Boadu has been asked by the medical team of the club to take a break from coaching due to ill health.

It would be recalled that Boadu was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed during his side's game against Aduana Stars last month.

He recovered in time and returned to Medeama following the scary moment.

But it appears he hasn't fully recovered from his illness and would require some time to attend to his health needs.

Samuel Boadu wasn't on the bench for Medeama when they lost their first home league game of the season 1-2 against Elmina Sharks.

It has emerged that the two-time FA Cup champions will miss hiss services for a long time.

In his absence, assistant coach Hamza Obeng will take charge or alternatively, the club can sign an emergency coach.

They will in the capital, Accra, on Wednesday to face an improved Inter Allies side.
