Hearts edge Wa All Stars to qualify for final

The Phobians booked a place in the FA Cup final for the first time since 2000

The first half of the game was an end to end action.

Wa All Stars dominated the early exchanges of the game, but failed to breach the iron-clad defence of the  Accra giants and it was against the run of play that the Phobians scored- Thomas Abbey picked the ball and opened space in the Wa All Stars goal area, finding Patrick Razak and the former Tamale Utrecht attacker finished it off perfectly.

Hearts of Oak afterwards controlled the game, before the referee whistled to end the first half.

The most successful club in the history of the FA Cup, continued from where they left it off in the first half by pilling pressure.

Patrick Razak had his effort missed the post by few inches, before the inform Kwame Kizito double the lead for the Phobians- A Wa All Stars defender failed to clear a cross sent into their goal area by Thomas Abbey and Kizito took advantage of that to score the second goal.

Kwame Kizito could have made it 3-0 after he dribbled past about four players, but Wa All Stars were saved by the woodwork.

Samuel Attah Mensah who came on in the second half got the consolation goal for Wa All Stars.
