Nana Kwesi strike for Aduana Stars to secure last-gasp win against Great Olympics

Aduana Stars continued their strong start to the season following a last-gasp 1-0 win against Great Olympics in Week Two of the ongoing Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Olympics vs Aduana Stars

The game looked set to be heading for a draw before Nana Kwasi’s effort broke Olympics hearts.

Olympics went into the match with the aim of grabbing their first maximum points after their opening day 3-0 defeat against AshantiGold at Obuasi.

The first half was bereft of any attacking quality from either side with Great Olympics’ half chances only coming from set piece situations.

And with the match looking increasingly like ending in a stalemate, Nana Kwesi popped up from nowhere to score for Olympics.

The result saw Olympics move down to 17th on the standings while Aduana move atop of the table with 6 points.
