Baba Armando blasts football administrators in Ghana

Former Black Stars player Baba 'Armando' Adamu has laid into football administrators in the country for their poor handling of talents

Former Ghana international Baba Armando has attributed the lack of desire from players to play in the Ghana league to no respect and poor treatment from football administrators in the country.

The Ghana league has seen a rise in footballers wanting to play outside the country as conditions of services away from home are better than staying in the Ghana division.

Explaining his point on Kumasi-based radio station Nhyira FA, Baba ‘Armando’ Adamu said the talented players who need motivation in their development are not properly handled by the administrators who have no idea about the football system.

He stressed there are a lot of talented players in the country, giving the talent-filled local parks in Kumasi such as Ashtown as places where these players are unwilling to play the Ghana Premier League due to unfair treatment.
