Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has reportedly agreed a move to Manchester City season.

With his contract with Bundesliga giant expiring at the end of this season, Guardiola has been linked with a move to the English giants.

Spanish radio station Cadena COPE is now reporting that the Spanish coach has agreed a deal with the Etihad outfit to manage them next season.

“Guardiola has decided on a change of scenery,” the report reads.

“He considers his time in Germany will end on 30 June after three seasons and, therefore, fulfil one of his wishes: to coach in England.”

Cataonia based paper El Mundo Deportivo also reports that the former Barcelona coach signed a pre-contract with City on Thursday, November 28 to take over at the end of this season.

These reports came following comments by Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge that Guardiola is replaceable.

When asked at a Bayern Munich sponsors event about Guardiola’s future, Rummenigge said: “No one is irreplaceable. Players come and go and it is the same for coaches. The coaches come in and at some point they leave. If Guardiola leaves another exceptional coach will come in.”

Rummenigge also confirmed that they will continue contract talks with the coach after Bayern play Hannover on December 19.

“It is not planned to push back that date. We have always said there will be a decision in 2015,” Rummenigge said.

“I know that it's late, just days before Christmas. But the talks will be held after the Hannover match, and we'll then announce a decision.”
