Sam Arday 1995 FIFA U-17 World Cup winning coach passes on

The veteran Black Stars coach is reported dead in Accra after a short illness

Arday last coaching position held before his demise was the technical director of West African Football Academy (WAFA).

He had stints with the Black Stars on different occasion-the last time he was named the head coach of the Black Stars was in 2014 on an acting capacity.

Sam Arday is well known for winning the FIFA U-17 World Cup with the Black Starlets in 1995 and also emerged as the first African coach to win a medal in the Olympic football-1992 with the Black Meteors.
