Kwesi Appiah lauded the team after putting up a wonderful performance and he did so in reference to the new players in the team.

"I think the players did so well. Tactically we were disciplined, individually they all performed so well, for me it’s proven the fact that if some other players have been given the chance to play they can perform.”

Kwesi Appiah stated his plan for the current crop of players in the squad.

“In a nutshell, it is my ambition to build a team for Afcon 2019. They are performing and it should not be only me assessing the players.

Kwesi Appiah opened up the mandate to analyse and scruitinise players in the squad to the Ghanaian public
