Paul Pogba has made a case for himself as a good leader

Pogba who captained France U-20 team to win the juvenile World Cup has shared a video which has disclosed his inspirational words to the French team ahead of their victory against Croatia.

Goals from Mario Manzukic (own goal), Antoine Griezman, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe propelled France to a 4-2 win against Croatia in the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Pogba who was in the thick of event has revealed the role he played in inspiring the team to victory.

"It is a dream since I was a young boy. I hope we have made the people proud," the Frenchman said, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.

"I told everyone before the game, 'We are 90 minutes away from realising our dream, we are 90 minutes from entering into history books for life, and we were 90 minutes away from making France rock – even children, and their children, will know about this.

"'So, guys, we can do this. There are two teams and a cup, and we are not going to let another team take this cup.'

"That is all I told them."
