Thibaut Courtois boycotts training to force Real Madrid move

The Chelsea goalie didn’t train as he looks forward to joining Real Madrid.

Courtois, 26 has made his intention to rejoin his family who are based in the Spanish Capital, Madrid clear, having communicated this to Maurizio Sarri, the new Chelsea boss.

Chelsea, are now in a fixed since they risk losing the player next season on free transfer if they decide to keep him.

It seems that a deal for Courtois could be completed soon, especially considering that Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri told the press that he only wanted “players fully committed.”

Real Madrid could reportedly pay around €35 million to sign the Belgian goalkeeper. Chelsea will be forced to sell Courtois if they don’t want him to leave as a free agent next year, given that his contract expires in June 2019.

Chelsea will want to sign a replacement for Courtois in the next few days because the transfer window in England will be closed on August 9th, so time is running out for all three parts involved.
