Manchester United missed out on almost all their first choice players they tabled down when the transfer period became heated.

Players seem to have no interest in the club that used to be the dream team of most star players.

Jose Mourinho is not satisfied with the quality of Manchester United defence and he has been hunting for top-notch cover for his team.

He approached the likes of Jerome Boateng, Tody Alderweireld, Diego Godin, Harry Maguire, Sandro, yet none of these players gave their consent to join the Red Devils.

One would ask what has resulted to this.

Jose Mourinho appears to be losing his man management, having had issues with some of the key players of the squad, especially Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.

The Portuguese cough up a world record transfer fee- 100 million euros for the services of Paul Pogba from Juventus last two seasons.

The relationship between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho became rough when the latter left the France international on the bench in some of the crucial games of Man United for tactical reasons.

Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Riola were frustrated by the treatment meted out to the midfielder and started informing clubs about the availability of his client.

Anthony Martial, was the go to man before the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, but he lost his position at the latter part of last season and failed to make France’s team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Before he left Real Madrid, Mourinho had issues with all the stars in the team: Iker Casillas, Pepe, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ramos and the situation is not different at Manchester United.
