Sulley Muntari gets Chinese Super League suitors

Sulley Muntari could join Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan in the Chinese Super League in the January transfer window

Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari is wanted by Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan. The Al Ittihad midfielder who joined the Saudi club last summer could be on the move to play in the same league with Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan who is a player of Shanghai SIPG.

Beijing Guoan who placed fourth in the Chinese Super League last season are looking to boost their squad ahead of the new season and also have other targets in the English Premier League.

Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote is also a transfer target for the Chinese side and could partner former AC Milan player Sulley Muntari in the heart of Beijing Guoan midfield in the next China football season.

Muntari has six months left on his contract at Saudi club Al Ittihad but a transfer move to the team based in the Chaoyang District of Beeijing is highly probable.
