The 27-year-old attacking midfielder completed a deal with the Hammers on a 20.6  pounds deal last summer.

Andre Ayew had a slow start to the season after suffering an injury on his debut and failed to replicate the form that influenced Slaven Bilic to break the bank for his signature from Swansea City.

The supporters of West Ham United have divergent opinions on whether Andre Ayew should stay or leave.

West Ham United after signing Javier Hernandez for a fee of 16m pounds makes it appear the Ghanaian striker is going to face much competition in the striking role.

Andre Ayew is used as a supporting striker and as it stands now he will be competing with Javier Hernandez and Andy Caroll for one of the two slots that will be available in the team.

The former Olympique Marseille player has been linked to clubs  like West Browich Albion and it is understood that Southampton are currently leading the race for his signature of the Black Stars deputy skipper.
