Nigeria had taken the lead via Yakubu Ayegbeni’s penalty, but Michael Essien registered the equalizer for Ghana through a powerful header before Junior Agogo struck the winning goal to power Ghana into the semi-finals.

Agogo retired from active football in 2015 and was battling with stroke which also led to Aphasia, a disease which tends to affect one’s ability to use language properly.

Football fans seems to have forgotten what the one time the darling boy of Ghanaian football did on the field of play for the Black Stars.
