Isaac Twum credits teammates for MVP award

The Black Stars B captain who emerged MVP of the 2017 WAFU Cup dedicates award to teammates.

The Inter Allies midfielder led the Black Stars B side to win the sub-regional tournament and was able to cap it off with being voted the most valuable player.

Speaking to the media after the final, Twum was ever grateful to his teammates in getting him the award.

“Talking about my performance, I can say that is came from the team spirit. We built a team and we were like family. We helped each other. This award that I got came from the support of my team mates and I congratulate them.”

Twum with this very feet has been able to been able to get his name included in the mainstream Black Stars team which are to play Uganda on the 7th of October, 2017.

He was picked alongside Joseph Addo and Vincent Atingah who were were integral parts of the 2017 WAFU team that won the coveted trophy

Twum is reported to go on a two week trial with Norway side IK Start.

However, Twum’s club side Inter Allies will face Dwarfs, Medeama, Liberty Professionals and Accra Hearts of Oak in the last four games of the Ghana Premier League.
