Asante Kotoko acting head coach Michael Osei has hailed the capture of Prince Acquah, Isaac Quansah (from Hearts of Lions) and Conney Idan (from Medeama SC).

The trio have joined the Porcupine Warriors and they have formed a strong partnership with the existing players in the team.

Kotoko have been in a remarkable form in the ongoing G-6 Tournament – they have won two games, recording 3-0 win over Bechem United and 2-0 against Wa All Stars.

And Osei has attributed the club’s pre-season form to the arrival of the trio.

I’m happy with the level of competition in the team, taking into consideration of our two matches I think the boys are doing very well.

Prince Acquah, Isaac Quansah and Conney Idan are doing very well. They have the quality because last season I was lacking players like them,  I think they are helping the team so I’m happy to get them,” Osei told the the media after Kotoko 2-0 win over Wa All Stars on Monday.

Asante Kotoko would have to overcome Hearts of Oak in the weekend if they want to reach the final and defend the G-6 title they won last season.
